Concord and Time

Our summer concert celebrates love and the passage of time. Granta Chorale joins the trombone quartet Slideways and Organist Richard Carr for a rousing afternoon of choral music, organ and brass. Our selection ranges from Bruckner, Beethoven, Rheinberger and Mendelssohn through to Britten and Rutter. We also showcase recent works by Joanna Marsh, Sarah Cattley and we are excited to premiere a specially commissioned piece for choir and trombones by our muscial director Janet Wheeler.
