A Time to Sing

A varied programme of songs and choruses on the natural world and the passing of time. Music includes Britten's entrancing Hymn to St Cecilia, songs from John Rutter’s Birthday Madrigals, Hindemith’s six settings of poems by Rilke, Rheinberger’s sumptuous Evening Hymn and some jazz numbers such as Autumn Leaves.

This event is unticketed and free to attend with no need to book in advance, however donations will be accepted which will be split between the upkeep of the church and Granta Chorale. The church will be open from 7pm for pre-concert refreshments to which you are very warmly invited.
